1. Cleaning and chip removal
The accumulation of chips and oil will lead to reduced accuracy or mechanical failure. After processing, clean the iron chips on the workbench, guide rails and tool holder in time to prevent scratches on the surface. Use compressed air to blow out the electrical cabinet and cooling system filter when cleaning to avoid short circuit caused by dust. Regularly replace the coolant to prevent bacteria from growing and corroding parts.
2. Maintenance of the lubrication system
Lubrication is the basis for the normal operation of the vertical lathe, which directly affects the degree of wear of core components such as guide rails, lead screws, and bearings. During daily maintenance, the lubricating oil should be replenished or replaced daily according to the requirements of the equipment lubrication chart. Check the oil level and oil quality of the oil tank to avoid mixing with metal chips or deterioration, and clean the filter and oil circuit every week. After long-term disuse, it is necessary to idle at low speed for 3-5 minutes to preheat the lubrication system.
3. Fastener and structural stability inspection
Regularly check whether the bolts, screws, and pressure plates are loose every day, focusing on the tool holder clamping mechanism and beam fixing device. If a worn washer or deformed nut is found, it should be replaced in time to prevent uneven force from causing structural deformation. Use a level to check the flatness of the workbench and adjust the guide rail clearance every week.
